Lyrics
Amazong jungle,
A a a a a Amazon jungle (repeat)
Lemur, jaguar, toucan, piranha;
swimming, crawling, climbing the trees.
Frogs, flamingos, electric eels,
all surrounded by the tropical breeze.
Amazon is the biggest rain forest
20% of the world’s oxygen
South America from East to West
Everyone smells its beautiful air.
Fire’s burning, machines churning,
It’s the only one, the Earth’s lung.
It’s bigger than us, bigger than your brain,
so we must not let it die in vein.
The lung of the world caught in flames,
we’re burning it down it’s us to blame.
It’s the largest jungle in the world
and all of our minds are twisted and curled
Amazong jungle,
A a a a a Amazon jungle (repeat)
The Amazon’s dying ‘cause we’re not trying,
soon enough, we’ll be out of time.
All this mining is just so blinding,
look at us committing the crime.
So many fires so many wires,
generations are falling to pieces.
Say no to fires, say no to roads,
say not to mines so save us all
Coal mines spreading everywhere,
no one cares so be aware.
Save the world and the vegetation
or it might get hyperventilation
Say no to fires, say no to roads,
we’re getting you here to have a voice.
Say not to mines, the earth erodes,
this may be our only choice.
Amazong jungle,
A a a a a Amazon jungle (repeat)
