From the recording "Open Your Eyes" Sabrosa Nueva Sonido Remix
Our amigos Paprika and the Sabrosa crew cooked up this Neo Tropical club re-rub of Open Your Eyes (back during cv-19 times), one of the standout tracks from our first album, finally seeing the light of day!
Led by Paprika at the controls and Carlo Xavier (Kobra 3000/El Gran Mono/Analog Africa) for Sabrosa Sound System, with a little feature from Ethiopian jazz virtuoso guitarist Yossa Haile.
They added some extra bleeps and tweaks for the neo-tropical club dance floor, and couldn’t think of a better cause and time for the remix to be out.
Today, as we unleash this vibrant track, we take a moment to honour the strength and resilience of First Nations children on National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. This year's theme, “Strong in Culture, Stronger Together,” highlights the powerful role that culture, stories, and community play in shaping our future leaders.
In support of this important day, all sales from the track will be donated to The Healing Foundation, an Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation that provides a platform to amplify the voices and lived experiences of Stolen Generations survivors and their families, creating a safe space for healing and storytelling.
By purchasing this track, you're not only supporting new music but contributing to a meaningful cause.
Let's open our eyes, working together to create a fair and playful world for all children. ❤️👧🏾👦🏾
Dance, celebrate, and make a difference with us today! 🎉🔊
